John W Shryock
Biography
John W. Shryock is an attorney with over forty years of experience in the practice of law in Lake and its surrounding counties in Ohio. He strives to provide thoughtful and appropriate services to his clients with consideration to the financial and emotional cost of litigation. He has represented clients in family and criminal matters. He has tried cases in both Federal and Ohio courts. John Shryock knows that in some matters negotiation may preferable to litigation.
Cleveland, Ohio Family Law and Divorce Attorney
John has extensive experience in all areas of family law in both Domestic Relations and Juvenile courts. He represents both mothers and fathers in divorce, dissolution of marriage, custody and visitation matters. He has served as a guardian ad litem for children in custody matters in both domestic relations and juvenile courts for more than twenty years. He is a certified domestic relations mediator.
John graduated from Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1978 after earning his undergraduate degree there in 1974. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Western Reserve Council of the Boy Scouts of America. For more than twenty-five winters John has been found coaching youth ice hockey in the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League. He has served in the "Cleveland Ice" committee devoted to providing the opportunity for ice hockey instruction to disadvantaged Cleveland youth.
